Nossetssik is a project-based contemporary dance company based in Montpellier, France, founded in 2021 by Mateus and Tamás Tesson-Kiss.

 

At the core of our artistic approach is the exploration of oppositions, risks, and the innate physicality of the body. We push the boundaries of movement, shifting between the minimal and the extreme while remaining rooted in organic expression. Our work is deeply influenced by the emotional landscapes within the body, using the core as the driving force behind every gesture, transition, and dynamic shift.

Nossetssik brings together a diverse ensemble of international dancers, each contributing their unique cultural background and artistic influences. This rich exchange of perspectives enhances our creative process, allowing us to explore movement through multiple lenses and push the limits of contemporary dance.

 

Our choreographic language is built on the profound connection between emotion and physicality. Movement originates from within—the body’s core—unfolding through a visceral and authentic flow. We craft narratives that emerge from deep internal impulses, allowing emotions to travel through every cell and manifest in raw, expressive motion. This process creates an immersive and cathartic experience for both performers and audiences, defining the essence of Nossetssik’s artistic vision.
